Staff were friendly and attentive. Very well presented rooms and public areas. The location is in a side street off the main road, so very quiet but still within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants etc. The gardens are well kept and provide a place to relax and read etc.

The hotel is located on a quiet street, just a short walk away from the beautiful lake. The rooms have a large balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The breakfast offers a variety of German food, including freshly brewed coffee.
Everything was perfect!

Good central location close to the lakeside. Breakfast which was served in the adjacent building was of good standard.

The customer service is extremely responsive and the rooms and grounds are carefully cared-for. But their morning buffet blew my wife and me away. I have never seen such an amazing breakfast buffet! Breads, cheese, eggs, meats, grilled vegetables, cake, fruit, cereals, marmalades, all laid out every morning with such love. They clearly take pride in their guest's comfort. Their breakfast starts at 7:30am, but I showed up in the breakfast room at 6:30am to do a spot of work at a seat with a window. Within minutes two kitchen staff had showed up, encouraged me to make myself comfortable, and asked whether they could bring me tea, coffee, or breakfast--a full hour before official breakfast time. This is their commitment to their guests. I would have loved to stay longer.
No complaints. However, Americans be warned that the rooms are as small/cozy as most European hotel rooms are: they are for sleeping, showering, and stowing your stuff whilst you enjoy a spa or a walk by the lake, minutes away on foot; they are not a living-room away from home as many American hotel rooms are.

During our stay at Hotel Alpensonne, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and friendly service provided by the staff. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a delicious selection of croissants and a wide range of charcuterie options. We also enjoyed the fantastic sauna, pool, and outdoor area, which had plenty of tables, chairs, and loungers for relaxation. The addition of a day room with coffee was a nice touch. Despite the small room size and high level windows, the staff and facilities easily made up for it. we would highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and amenities.

The breakfast was nice and offered a variety of food, but it was not enough to make up for the hotel's shortcomings. the location was convenient and easy to access from nearby shops and attractions. the bed was comfortable.
The hotel overall looked old and dated. the room was uninviting and lacked any modern amenities.

Great attention to detail: The hotel provided some lovely touches like freshly brewed coffee in the morning, giving a comforting start to the day. Friendly staff: The hotel staff were really welcoming and made me feel right at home during my stay. Convenient location: This hotel is situated on a quiet street, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the lovely area.
Room size: The room was a bit smaller than expected, but still comfortable for a single traveler.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a double comfort room and it was more of a suite, very well furnished, absolutely clean, had a large bathroom and also a terrace. The pool area was lovely. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel and I have travelled extensively. The hotel is also very well situated for the lake and for the mountains.

Service and staff were excellent. Breakfast was very nice.
Hotel layout is confusing as it conprises two separate buildings.
